In most survival horror games, you have to stay one step ahead of the multiple horrors hunting you in order to survive, but in the soon to be released game Carrion, from Devolver Digital, you ARE the horror.

Carrion sees you taking the role of the monster, stalking and consuming those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down the prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.

Carrion utilizes a beautiful pixel art style to render a metroidvania-style game that has you taking revenge against your captors, unlocking new abilities, and gaining access to more and more sections of the prison as you seek to gain your freedom.
