Reviews Overview: Curse of the Moon 2

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 released on July 10 to Windows PCs, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.

Reviews have been largely positive and it seems that anyone who was either a fan of the other Bloodstained games, or a fan of the old Castlevania games, will likely find Curse of the Moon 2 to be well worth their time. Add to that a bargain price point of only $15 and Curse of the Moon 2 seems like a no brainier.

Check out the following review highlights:

Gamespot (8/10)

At first glance it still borrows the aesthetic from Castlevania 3, but the stage design is much more complex and rewarding to explore.

Destructoid (9/10)

A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won’t cause massive damage.

VentureBeat (85/100)

If you liked the first Curse of the Moon, this is an easy recommendation. If you missed that 2018 game and are a fan of Castlevania III, then you need to pick it up and this sequel.

Screen Rant (4/5)

All in all, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 is a treat for longtime Castlevania players or anyone else with an interest in retro action-platformers.
